Help with install messiah 2 ver 7 ps2
Tried my first mod on ps2. Wow. Had it apart and together 6 times now. I was able to boot up dvd, and originals but would not boot up backups. Took it apart and cleaned numerous solders, and put together. Now it boots up originals and their backups but not dvd player or backups of ps1. Any help would be appreciated. Thnx

Sounds like a bad install. Even if the install APPEARS to be ok certain issues can only be seen under a magnifying glass. IE solder balls etc.
As your problems have changed it really does sound like bad install. Send your machine away to a professional and hope you haven't done any perm damage.

How are you trying to boot PS1 and dvd's......
You should hold reset until the blue eject light comes on and then release the reset button. (Sorry I haven't updated my boot procedures post in a while... I will be doing that in the next few days.)
