It could just be that you have to try both drives, d and e to run it. If not, and ur sure that the protections are still intact, you may want to download a securom 2 patch/crack for it, and just keep it open when you play. Diablo II's protection(secuRom2) has a feature that checks wheather the cd is original. A patch/crack thats on gamecopyworld.com somewhere...follow the instructions on the site and it should work. Possibly try a securom unwrapper if none of the above work.
