And LG burner is probably your problem, I've never known anyone to have luck with and LG!!
Opps, well I see your burner according to a soruce is pretty good. Playstation games need to be made with out data correction, Playstation puts gaps that need to be there as a copy protection, if when creating the disk this gaps are removed or corrected the disk won't work.
I recently upgraded to a Plextor 40x12x40 burner myself but haven't used it on a PS game yet so i don't know if the speed is a factor, I'm upgrading from a USB 1 4x4x6 to USB 2.
