How do i use Amplify Weak Sectors on clone Cd and do i need it ?

Hi i got a plextor 241040 and read somewhere that you can activate the amplify weak sectors for better copying of software can someone tell me what this is and when should i use it..tnx

Ok i edited th registry and now have aws ticked do i really need it ?

Only for safedisc 2 protected games, and if your burner doesn't support the "correct EFM encoding" capability (check the supported writers web page from Elaborate Bytes); but also with the Amplify option thicked, you cannot be sure to have backups of safedisc 2 protected games....as usual try all the possible options.

Your burner can handle safedisc2 properly.
This means it can write the "weak sectors" on your cdr without assistance.

So, you shouldn't need to tick "amplify weak sectors" as your writer can do 'em.
