Probably your problem depends on softwares you used.

I've never had problem like this.

Try this program (I tried a lot, but i think it's the best)
- Gordian Knot (It's a program that includes DVD Decrypter, DVD2AVI, NAndub and Virtualdub)

I make a lot of good movies with this.
