NTSC -- > PAL? Can it be done without a heck of a lot of cash?

My TV's not particularly new - it's a Grunding - and it handles colour in RGB. You need to make sure you're using an RGB Scart lead, not just an ordinary scart lead and that your PS2 is set to output RGB. But that still leaves me with a squashed picture.
