Hi there,
Cd-Rom drives generally don't require drivers unless working in dos.
Maybe the best way to get the make is to switch off the pc & slide the drive out from the bay.
The make & model should be on a sticker on the top of the drive.
Most 8x4x32 drives were Samsung or Goldstar in pre-built pc's.
