you've answered your own question.
If your burner cannot write in RAW DAO (or SAO) mode then many copy protected titles are unwritable by your burner. There is no software that can overcome a hardware failing. Use your image with daemon tools and you can install and run from that, once it's mounted on the virtual cdrom
