If you look at
this thread you'll find someone with the same problem. It's a bit weird, but it could work. Do you have a Nvidia card ? Which driver version do you have installed ? There was a substantial change in the way the Nvidia control panel extensions worked on the 3x.xx and 4x.xx series of drivers. If you installed a 4x.xx driver on top of a 3x.xx driver without uninstalling the 3x.xx first, you'd get all kinds of weird errors, and the MOH/Spearhead serial error is rumored to be one of them. So if you have a 4x.xx driver (40.72, 41.03 etc.), uninstall that and install a 3x.xx driver like 30.88 (very stable) and tell me what happens. And give me the EXACT error message it gives, does it only have a OK-button or can you click Cancel ?
