Help with SSX
Hi
I have a UK (PAL) PS2 chipped with NEO2 have had no problems booting backups including EA games (EA boot method) However I have a NTSC (I believe) bin file off SSX and cannot get it to boot it stops loading half way through...I have tried applying various EA patches as well as buring at 2x speed on black discs... The other problem I have is that there was no CUE file with it so I am using one from another game...(I wonder if this could be a problem to ??) Any help getting this to work is greatly apreciated, as I am running out of ideas..... Jabba |

Hi,
If the backup does not boot and your using the right booting method, the best (easyiest) thing todo is get another original of this game and make a fresh new backup using CLONE CD or CDR-Win. I made a copy straight from an original game using CLONE CD and it boots fine. The bin file may be damaged or never extracted correctly in the first place. goodluck Dal |

I had the same problem with the ntsc and never got it to work. It locked up at the start screen, I tried several diffferent methods. I finally gave up, and I extracted the .bin file from the original. Good luck

You need the original cue file in order to burn it.
