There is nothing wrong with your dvd drive because its reporting the correct size of the disc through DVD Decrypter....
I think this is the problem they are having with Xenosaga also (also DVD-9) in that the second layer cannot be picked up by Windows.... Try using DVD Decrypter to rip the ENTIRE disc to your hard drive and then see what size it is then. Maybe dvd decrypter can read ALL of the files and WRITE all of them to the hard drive. Although you would have to find (OR MAKE) a rip kit to get it to fit on 1 DVD-R....
