OH NO....Not this debate again.. Seriously, The Sony and Pioneer both are great drives. I have the A05 and I love it... It works great for dvd movies as well as PS2 games, and any other thing I can throw at it. There is a few people on here with the Sony drive as well, and they report it works great also.. So, the debate continues... I guess it just comes down to personal preference... Also, it wouldn't be such a bad thing to get one of the older drives if it will save you alot of money, but if the money difference is not that much, I would get the newest one... Answer 2: Shouldn't be any problems at all. Look on the back of your PS2, it has a number on it that begins with SCPH-xxxxxx.... We need that number and any other info on that label you could provide.
