If PS2 is yer main concern u don't require +R/RW. -R/RW has proven to be the best for DVD and PS2 backup. Hi izCube ... what do you think about the TOSHIBA SD-R5002 DVD-R/RW?? it seems that it can read and write PC game (with protection) bettter than the Pioneer...

I m deciding to buy a DVD writer too.. but...
