Please Help

Ok well I am very overwhelmed by the complexity of this task of making a no cd patch...I am new to this and would like to know if i am n the right track...

First I used the W32Dasm to Disassemble the .exe file
Then I was blown away by all the code there..Am I doing this right?? I am trying to make a no cd patch for Combat Flight Sim 3 and Tiger Woods Golf 2003..Can someone let me know if I am on the right track and what my next step might be ?? Thanks for your help
