Hitman2 crashing

I spoke to soon Now about 5 minutes after I start to play, the hitman2.exe file causes a problem and makes me have to close the game. I did everything that Xero said to do above on changing the D3D to OpenGL. Got any suggestions about how to stop the hitman2.exe file from crashing? Thanks. I hope that one day I can get this thing to work...and when I do I will knock on wood before I say anything
