Need Help on Copying CD's

Ok this may be a stupid question, but I am new at copying cd's and I am having trouble

I want to copy CD's that are copywrited such as SIMS, NHL 2001, etc etc

Now If anyone could give me simple instructions on how this can be done I would greatly appreciate it and if it can't be done let me know that and THANKS in advance
