!need Emergency 2 No-cd Crack!

I have downloaded the Patch 1.0. This patch will update three files:

- Level\mission22.ELF
- Houses\Reichstag.eht
- Emergency2.exe

To remove the CD-check from the Emergency2.exe (Filesize: 1.335.296 Bytes !!) simply start the Crack.exe from Fl@sh. To get this Crack.exe download the file NO-CD_Crack_for_Emergency_2_Date_11.10.2002.ace from GCW.

Do NOT download the version "Date_18.10.2002" - this will NOT work with the patch above!!

The Crack.exe simply changes ONE BYTE in the Emergency2.exe: the byte at position h52C0 is changed from h84 in h85 - thats all.

If you can't download the crack.exe, try to change the byte by using a hex-editor.



But now one question:

Has anyone get the "ingame-music" to work without using the CD ??

I mean: is it possible to extract the audio-tracks from the CD and save it as .mp3- or .wav-files to the harddisc in such a way, the Emergency2.exe can FIND and PLAY it???

... maybe by creating a subfolder named 'music' or anything else ......
