It's a mixture of Clone CD and Daemon Tools - only it beats both programs at their own game
 Alcohol can copy SD 2.8 where CCD cannot, Alcohol can offer over 30 (i think) virtual drives compared to the 4 Daemon Tools offers and it can also emulate Securom 4.8
