Hi BG and thanks, I have received both the e-mails you have sent. I went ahead and tested a DVD-R Backup made with Primo and still the same: does not work. I honestly think I have found only one thing that MAY be a clue to this huge mystery: My Modchip instructions claim that a resistor should NOT be removed if one is using the GS2 1.71, 1.91, 1.93 and SHOULD be removed if GS 2.0X is used as a swap disc. Well my Modchip DOES have the resistor removed, though I don't have the GS2/V2.0 Disk. Mione is 1.99D. I really don't know if that is THE reason, but I don't have a GS2 V2 Game Disc. Any clues as to whether this could be the cause?
