Before you go looking for a modchip, you need to find out what version PS2 your m8 has...Look on the back of the PS2...There is a sticker that has a number on it..It starts with SCPH-######.
We need to know what that number is so we can determine the best mod chip for you... As far as install goes.... All of the GOOD mod chips require 23 wires to be soldered and YES, they are difficult to install...
