I've made a backup copy of BF1942, which works fine in single player mode.
Online, I get a list of servers but it fails to connect to any of them, all with seemingly legitimate errors such as "disconnected" or "failed to connect". Is this copy protection related ? All other online stuff (inc. UT2k3) work fine online (broadband connection). Cheers, Tony |

Maybe you don't have a original code?

I 'spose it could be dodgy although I'm reasonably sure its ok.

BF1942 has CRC checks on the Exe when u connect to a online server. This could be what is stopping u from playing online. Do a fresh install of the game, patch it and dont use any cracks
