Dvd rw are only useful for backing up pc data so have dropped in price, so peeps think they are picking up a bargain.

INCORRECT.... DVD-RW can be used for PS2 backups as well....Although you need to have a V5 or higher for good success....

Regardless....If you are happy with your +R...FINE....Keep it...But DVD-R is still the one you want to use for PS2 backups as of now... The +R format may become more popular in the future..We will have to wait and see...
