i just tried it with a mode1 image and it does not work sorry.
the only other thing i can think of is to rip the files from the iso and rebuild the disk using the method on http://emus4psx.host.sk/ehardspanish.htm just remember to read the whole page first and use the tool 2352.bin and not 2336.iso!! i use this method to build multi game psx disks so it does work!!
