Modchip for US V4
First let me thank all you guys for all the valuable information that I have found on your board. Keep it up.
Now to my Problem I have a US Version 4 PS2 (not an V4 R), which currently has a no solder modchip installed. I am looking to change this out to a Magic 2, Messiah, or similar no-swap chip. I cannot find any no-swap chip that shows to be compatible with a US V4 PS2. Is there something I'm missing, or will I have to buy a newer PS2? Thanks Tang |

If your v4 has a date code of 1A or 1B then the Magic 2 V4 will work for you.... Take a look at the website: http://china-magic.com/modid.htm
