Hi TheMasterRat - sounds like you have some PSX experience so you should be alright.
You might want to check out www.psxcopyworld.co.uk tutorials section for Primo and Nero DVD tutorials. DVD to HD takes about 1/2 hour ish (I dont sit there and time it normally), then the burn takes around 40-60 minutes depending on game size. If you are in the UK then forget about Princos and go for Traxdata DVD-R from either www.bigpockets.co.uk or www.121cdr.co.uk a few of us on here use that brand with 100% success.
