BG is on a distinguished road
If you buy a US PS2 and play it on a US TV you will have no problems. If you are planning on playing it on a PAL TV or something other than NTSC you will need to have a convertor box or a multi-system tv to display the PS2 correctly...

Mod Chips vary in price range.
BUT, remember one thing, YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!

The Magic 2 & the Messiah are the best chips out.... They direct boot everything. No need to swap or have a gameshark....

AND YES, THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHER CHIPS.....But nothing else compares.....

Yes, you can download PS2 games BUT you will have to find out where on your own... It is AGAINST THE RULES to ask on this forum.
And yes, you can RIP dvd games to cd-r but its time consuming and a royal PAIN IN THE A$$.... Invest in a dvd burner like the Pioneer A04 and you will be much happier...
