GT3 patch for JAP SCPH 15000 help!???

You won't need a new PS2. I use SCPH 15000 with Utility Disk Boot (Or any other Jap original game boot). Anything that plays on his Jap PS2 ought to play on yours. The swap disk method isn't relevant because it's just a method for doing a proper first stage boot and allowing you to put in the bacjup you wish to play. Does whatever physical CD rip you are using work on your friend's PS2? Does the original GT3 DVD work on your firiend's PS2?
