im not 100% sure but from what i remember a 90 min cd even if labeled 90min is just an overburnable 80min disc.
have you read the article in www.gamecopyworld.com about 90min discs and #####ed how far your burner can go? it might be a hardware issue also use groove reader to ##### what the disc is telling the burning program... sorry if thats been of no help...
