It is possible that they have not yet lowered the price of the PS2... For some reason Toys R Us is the only store I have noticed it at.... Normally if you mention that another store has it for a lower price they will match it..... I doubt it has anything to do with the version of PS2..... Just ask the employees what version they have and 99% of them say"
 HUH"....Oh, and I live in the US, so its not just in Canada.....
