Could magic II modchip cause my optic lens part become unstable ?

I dont see how it could. Its just a modchip not a laser adjuster or such.

a mod-chip couldn't do that. i'd only happen if you dropped the ps2 or something

Actually a mod chip can cause you to have laser problems....The original Neo 2 mod chips applied too much voltage to the laser and would eventually burn it up.... They came up with a fix for it by installing a capacitor that would limit the voltage applied to the laser...... This is the only chip I know of that had this problem.
Pale Skin, to answer your question....... NO, the Magic 2 will not harm you laser......
