Hi PSX_Paul,

Thanks for your reply. Although my BTC CD Writer wasn't in the list on the page you gave the URL to, I decided to download and install CloneCD anyway, after reading this on their site:

"If your CD recorder is not listed, simply try to apply CloneCD. MOST CD-RECORDERS WORK WITH CLONECD, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT LISTED!"

From within CloneCD, the following Device Capabilities are listed for my particular Model: -

Device Capabilities:
Note: This information is provided by the unit, it might be inaccurate. CloneCD does not use this information!
Manufacturer: CDWriter
Product: IDE4x4x32
Revision: Z041
Can read CD-R Discs: Yes
Can read CD-RW Discs: Yes
Can read DVD Discs: No
Can read MultiSession Discs: Yes
Can read Digital Audio Discs: Yes
Digital Audio Data is accurate: Yes
Can write CD-R Discs: Yes
Can write CD-RW Discs: Yes
Compatible with CloneCD RAW-DAO: Yes
Compatible with CloneCD RAW-DAO Write Simulation: Yes
Supports writing of CD+G RAW-DAO: No
Compatible with CloneCD RAW-SAO: No
Supports Buffer Underrun Protection: No

So, if by "RAW-DAO 96" you mean "RAW-DAO" as listed above, then my CD-Writer does support that. So, if that is the case, does that mean that I can make a backup copy of any PSX game without needing to use any patches? (fingers crossed the answer is yes, although it is a little hard to type when they are.....)

Once again, thanks!
