Sounds to me like this guy is talking about the old Yaroze(?) CD that everyone
and their dog thought could be burned and used to boot when in fact you still needed a Modchip and the program was a Terminal program Development kit to run code off of a computer link. Funny thing, if I remember correctly it did some ram/system tests, said OK and the background was a brick wall and did NOT boot anything!!! I have however been trying to think of a way to boot CDR's without needing a Gameshark,Manager,or RegionX CD. Still needing a chip, what would happen if you put a PS2 EXE file on a PS1 format CD? Say you make a PS1 cd that boots up and loads a PS1 menu program such as the 4in1 or 5in1 CD menu. Instead of selecting a PS1 EXE to boot, you make it to select a PS2 EXE file. has anyone tried such a thing? |
