go for xtender OVER the messiah.
The xtender is a complete replacement bios, that means when you wish to flash the internal bios and it goes pear shaped (if) the xtender will save your bacon as it will boot the xbox even if you trash the onboard, you can then try again. The Engimah is a hot patching (injects code) mod and it needs the existing chip to always work. If you flash the onboard you can always xtender 1,2,3,4,4,222222 etc etc on the onboard, just update when a new one comes out KNOWING that you're covered if the flash fails... the only thing is the wire count, but as your not doing it its not an issue.. just my 2p worth AK
