I couldnt say what each solder point is for, but I wouldnt recommend putting the wires anywhere your not supposed to.
When you say fuse, do you mean resistor? Putting a connection on the wrong side of one of these would give wrong voltage or signal info, so could be your problem I have heard of people repairing solders with a hot glue gun (it sticks but does not conduct). Good luck
