The no-solder mod relies on the Table of Contents (size) of your boot disk to provide the readable boundaries of any backup that is subsequently loaded after the swap trick.
630MB is the maximum size of all Sony games or utilities like AR2. So you would need to change to a Messiah or Magic 2 to do what you want.
