game patches not working.. help

i've been using the same version of cdrwin for a looong time,
and yes, i do read through the writer.

and the images are good, well, at least fifa, since it does run (just in PAL though ) maybe the spidey image is bad though, seeing as it fails to load at all... however, shouldn't the pal/ntsc selector load anyway, and if the game didn't work, it would freeze after the pal/ntsc selection screen?

i think i'm gonna give that import player cd thing a try. although it would be nice to just have the games themselves patched.......

i got two new 50 packs of cd-r's today, so i think i'll give it one or two more tries while this discussion continues.....
