thanx, but.....

i don't see how any of the tutorials would help, seeing they tell me what i already know. ppf-o-matic is real easy to use, i've read how to use pal4u 2K, and of course cdrwin, to burn a .bin, you load the cuesheet nad burn the modified .bin. not complicated really.

so yes, i do use cdrwin. what could it be about the settings thats screwing things up? like i said, i've burned backups before with no problem. this time around though, i'm patching, and the patches aren't doing what they're supposed to. like i said, i apply the patches, the .bin's are modified, i burn the cd's and nothing works.

spiderman 2 - game stalls on the black screen right before the pal/ntsc selector should load.

fifa2002 - the pal/ntsc selector never shows up and the game just goes right to the title screen in pal mode -and- using pal4u, like i said, it finds the sequences its supposed to, it creates the P4U file, i apply it to the .bin, and the game still just loads in pal mode.

and i currenty have two other games with PDX pal/ntsc selectors. however i got both already with the .bin modified. but i know how it should work. i should be able to load spiderman/fifa and i should get a screen with some graphic stuff or whatever and typically you hit square/triangle for pal, x/o for ntsc.
