JAP PS2 with Jap Origa chip v1.25

I got my SCPH-15000 JAP PS2 modded with a origa jap chip v1.25 and everything was working perfectly. Last night though, my Jap memory card got corrupted so i had to format it. And now DVD-Region X won't boot. It gets to the screen before the numbers from 1-6 and just shows me a picture of a PS2 with a memory card in it with a dvd sign over the memory card. I have no idea what is going on. Do i need to install some dvd software onto my memory card??? I have the Jap utilities disc v1.01 but it is all in japennese. Any help would be great.
