recording psx music

Howdy

I´m looking for a way to copy the psx music digitally to my minidisc recorder.

I can`t use the opto out of the ps2 with my md recorder because of the copy protection.

If I use an emulator to play the games/music and copy them to my md rec I got a music quality that really sucks.

Is there a music tool that allows me to play the sound files from a psx game?


I just tried the psmplay. but i just can`t get the music from tony hawk`s pro skater 2.

i have no idea in which format the music is saved!

actually in none format psmplay can read.

so if anyone knows how to exctract music (esp. Tony Hawk 2 !!!!!)
