Philip Based Drive or Plextor?? Do you have a Plextor, come on in (o`;)>>

"..... For example, writers based on Philips hardware (Philips, Fujitsu/Siemens, Acer, just to name a few) are NOT affected by this at all. With such a writer, you can copy SD2 with any CloneCD version, and the copy will run on every CD-ROM. ....."

".... Most other writers will not write these sectors correctly. Some writers (Plextor) can at least read the copy they've made, so the copy will run in the writer, but not in an ordinary CD-ROM. ....."

"....Either use your Plextor writer to play the copy, or buy a unit based on Philips hardware. ...."

Do you have a plextor and burn a SD2 or SecuRom CD and only play on your drive?

Because I am planinng to buy a CD Writer... I m interesting in Plexter SCSI 12/10/32 (PW-1210S) internal. Is it good to buy? Do you have that problem that CD can only play on its drive?"

OR buy a Philip Drive?
