GTAIII-Unusual Problem

About a week or so ago, I bought GTAIII for PC (Duh!!!) and found out even more recently I met all requirements (OHHHH Yeah!)....except one (Crapiosa!!!). My computer runs a graphics card with Voodoo on it instead of the required 3Dfx. Now lately I have been Desperately searching for a patch that can fool my computer into playing the game like I had 3Dfx. Now I now I am not supposed to ask for a patch, but I was wondering if anyone knew a way around the problem, where to find such a patch, if anyone else has encountered this problem, or alternate things to download that may help. After I finish sending this, I will continue my search for something...ANYTHING....to help me out here.
