writing safedisk with clone-Then trying to run backup from dvd drive

Hi

I have backed up a safedisk based game, and installed it but it
will not run from my dvd player!
It is safediskv1 but im confused as to why no safedisk based games will run in the dvd.
Its a basic samsung dvd reader,
also the backup works fine on my other pc using a basic cd-rom drive.
Any info would be much appeciated
