Psx burning and mod questions

Ok ill start with psx burning. Ok I have been using clonecd and daemon tools to burn games. What I do is mount the file, then burn it using clonecd's copy on the fly. Is this ok for psx burning? When I get my mod chip will the games that i preform this on work?. Ok about the mod chip. What is the absolute best mod chip around? Where can I get it and any recommendations to getting it installed for me?
