I just got a phone call from the distributor. It seems the RW and MP indicate different firmware on the drives. So I guess the question now is: Can one drive's firmware be applied to the other drive? It is beginning to look like I just need to buy the real deal and pay the extra $25. hehe I am cheap. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
