HELP: Clicking Sounds and Read errors after Messiah install

Hi,

I just completed my Messiah install on my V4 NTSC, and everything seems to work just dandy -- however my DVD drive makes some loud clicking noises when I load a game, and only occationally will it actually load the game.

I know it works cuz it has loaded a couple of times

Anybody have a great idea ??

Also to be noted I did have some problems getting the solder to stick on the SCEX connection (it read outs 0 ohms on the multimeter over the black piece which seems wierd, but the PS2 boots ok so I assume it is OK).

Wirering for for SCEX RESET, 3.3V and GROUND is done un ATA-33 cable, the rest in ATA-100.

Help is much appriciated...
