My cd-rom drive can not read burned cd's <more>

I just burned 2 cd-roms and tried them at the computer I burned them in and they worked fine, but when I try them at home in my Pc the cd-rom drive can not read them! Any ideas what is going on and if it can be fixed? I have an older pc at home with 20x cd-rom drive, but I have bought burned cd-roms and been able to use them in this computer! Please help me, this was supposed to be a surprise games for my kids for Christmas.
