HELP! CD-R beginner. HELP!!!

Hi, I just got a new computer with a 24/10/40 RW drive. If I want to copy music CDs all I need is another CD drive, is that right? DO I even need two drives or can I just copy all the music off one CD onto the HD then put it into a blank CD? What additional drive should I get to make my current CD-R drive work at it's optimal speed? What I'm looking for is to copy CD's is the smallest amount of time. I am thinking of getting a 52x CD drive. Is that enough, or should I get another CD-R drive? What are some good CD-R's that arent ridiculously priced? How do you download PS and DC games? Is there a dictionary anywhere with all the abbreviations and words that people use for burning. Ther are a lot of words on this website alone that I can't figure out. Thanks
