Dungeon siege problem!

Hi, i just got a copy of this game but i cant install it on my machine. When i run the game, it says the following message:

"Setup was unable to find ( or could not read ) the language specific setup resource dll, unable to continue. Please reboot and try again".

I cant install the game. Im using a Brazilian Install of Windows 98 and ive tried to install it to a Brazilian install of Windows XP without sucess. Is there any problem with my brazilian instalations? Or is it a problem on my CD? Do i have to download any fix? I search those fixes and didnt find anything. Plz help me. Thanx a lot in advance.
