CMC Magnetics Corp. (Type 0)

Dear fellow board users,

Has anyone had any success at using CMC Magnetics Corp. (Type 0) CD-Recordable Media at speeds greater than 4x-speed? I've had major, and I mean MAJOR problems, even at 8x-speed, and the discs I bought were rated 8x-speed compatible. They were cheap, of course, at AU$0.50 each (that's about US$0.25) on a spindle of 50, it wasn't a bad deal, but they seem more prone to burn errors etc. when burning at over 4x-speed.
