CloneCD and Imation CD-R's don't work together...

I've got an HP 9103 CDRW, had it for about a year now and burns great. Works fine with Clone CD (Version 3.0.0.1.4) and in the past I've used Memorex CD-R's and CD-RW's. Ran out of CDR's recently and bought a spindle of Imation 80min CDR's. Clone CD wont burn a single thing to these disks....After it burns the leadln it fails and gives me a "Media Error" message..coaster city. I've got about a dozen of them laying around. But if I take that same image and stick in a Memorex CDRW, works like a charm. Haven't had a chance to try some more Memorex CDR's. It's not even that ever few fail, every single one of them fail.

Anybody else experience anything like this??? I find it hard to believe that CDR's differ that much in quality and that Imation's are bad but I can't find any other explanation at the moment.
